Research and Expert Team:
The PHCS Meridian Pathway System was developed under the leadership of Professor Chung Chieh, known as the father of Energy Medicine in Taiwan. This project brings together the expertise of scholars from various fields, including physics, optoelectronics, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Western medicine, mathematics, integrative medicine, energy medicine, nutrition, and electronic information technology.
Building upon the foundational work of Chin Chih-Yi in 1982, the team made a significant breakthrough in 2011 by pioneering the use of world-leading electromagnetic induction technology. This innovation effectively eliminated the variables that had long affected the stability and sensitivity of traditional meridian measuring devices.
As a result, PHCS has become the most professional and the only meridian detection equipment in the world capable of real-time observation of the physiological functions of the five viscera and six bowels.
Meridian Measurement Based on The Yellow Emperor’s Inner Classic
According to the Huangdi Neijing (The Yellow Emperor’s Inner Classic):
"When the five organs are diseased, take the twelve Yuan-source points."
This ancient principle highlights the significance of Yuan-source points in diagnosis and treatment. When abnormalities occur in a meridian, they manifest at its corresponding Yuan point.
Each meridian has one Yuan point that represents its entire energy flow. The human body contains 12 primary meridians, with 12 Yuan points on the left side and 12 on the right, resulting in 24 total data points for comprehensive analysis.
When a meridian report is generated, the top of the report displays a list of 24 numerical values, representing the original, raw data of the meridian measurement—serving as the diagnostic foundation for further interpretation.
